COPING MECHANISMS governance IT ON STATE AGENCY BUSINESS INSURANCE SECTOR: STUDY CASES PT. INSURANCE BC (PT ABC)
ABSTRACT
IT governance (IT Governance) has become an attractive concept for discussion in the domain of information technology. Based on studies conducted by de Haes and Grembergan (2004) obtained the fact that some organizations have been implementing it by using a combination mechanism structure, process, and relational, most of which aimed to ensure harmony between IT and Business. This study attempted heard the application of IT in the governance of PT. ABC, a social insurance company, which is also a state-owned enterprises (SOEs), using the model / framework for IT governance. Results from this study is the description of the model include IT Governance structural mechanism, the mechanism process, and relational mechanisms that realized by PT ABC. It is expected that this study was obtained from the picture on the implementation of IT Governance in the PT and its ABC problematikanya that can be a discussion of materials for the study IT Governance in Indonesia.
